First edition, first printing of Ginsberg's collection of photographs of his close friends, including Kerouac, Cassady, Burroughs, Orlovsky, Snyder, Corso and Leary; and some of luminaries such as Robert Frank, Basil Bunting, Lou Reed and Ken Kesey; all with revealing descriptive annotations in facsimile. From an edition of 5,000 copies, this copy inscribed by Ginsberg, "Allen Ginsberg, Cleveland, 10/10/91", and with an extensive original drawing across the title page spread featuring a figure in lotus position surrounded by moon crescents, stars, the word "AH", as well as a skull and a flower, referring to the poem "Ah, Sunflower", by William Blake – one of Ginsberg's favourites.
