Limited edition of 500 copies, this one of 450 "standard" copies on vergé, numbered 498. René Kerdyk's portrait of the Parisian woman of the Roaring Twenties, beautifully illustrated by Guy Arnoux. Loosely inserted original water-colour by Barbizon School painter, Henri Harpignies (1819–1916), a close friend of Corot. The painting, an evocative wintry landscape en grisaille, fills one side of a small card (115 x 75 mm) and is signed and dated by Harpignies. The verso of the card is inscribed by the artist: "Hommage respectueux à Madame Deschamps & bons souhaits ce 1er janvier 1901, H. Harpignies."
