Dickens’s Dictionary of the Thames,

First edition, very scarce presentation copy inscribed, "George Ryan, with kind regards, Charles Dickens, Nov. 1879" above the Preface. Dickens's Dictionary of the Thames was a very popular guide to the river by Dickens's eldest son, updated and reissued every year until his death in 1896.
