First edition thus, publisher Arnold Fawcus's copy, copy A of 26 lettered copies reserved for the Trustees of the William Blake Trust and the Publishers, from a total edition of 558 copies on Arches pure rag paper made to match that used by Blake, each page being watermarked with Blake's monogram. This copy derives from the Trianon Press Archive, from the estate of Trianon publisher and founder Arnold Fawcus. In this Trianon facsimile, the 25 plates of Chapter 1 of Blake's visionary epic Jerusalem are reproduced in full colour facsimile, working from Lord Cuncliffe's copy of Blake original hand-illuminated edition. The colouring differs markedly from the Stirling copy, which was the first Trianon Press Blake facsimile, produced in 1950.
