Octavo. Finely bound in near-contemporary red streaked morocco, spine richly gilt-tooled in compartments with titles direct, sides panelled with floral gilt tooling, gilt-tooled turn-ins, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Extra-illustrated with engraved frontispiece and plates. Pencil ownership inscription. A little light rubbing to the ends and corners, internally sound and fresh, the occasional tissue guard toned or creased, a beautiful copy in excellent condition.
