From the library of Irish book collector Dr Philip Murray, author of The Adventures of a Book Collector (2011). He writes of meeting Dahl at a signing: "It was quite apparent that he got great enjoyment out of meeting the hundreds of children who queued up that day to have their books signed" (p. 101).
